I founded Calm Delivery to provide hands-on delivery leadership, strategic support for organisations working in complex, high-pressure environments.

It is built on my ultimate belief that good delivery happens when people feel trusted and properly supported.

I firmly believe that delivery doesn't have to be loud to be effective.

Experience where it matters

I have been working in project delivery since 2007. As an embedded Delivery Manager, Head of Delivery, and Delivery Director, I have led more than 50 projects through the full lifecycle from discovery to live.

This experience is drawn from environments where priorities compete, governance is often tricky to navigate, and teams are stretched.

In 2016, I co-founded Paper, a user research and service design agency. My grounding in user-centred design means I am focused on making sure services actually work for the people using them.

I believe in steady leadership and helping delivery feel manageable.

My background

My career spans digital agencies, government departments, agencies, and charities. Along the way, I have built, supported and managed teams to seamlessly support agile delivery.

I am a Guest Lecturer in Project Management at the University of Sheffield and sit on the Advisory Board for the Sheffield Methods Institute.

I live in Sheffield with my wife and two children. When I get any spare time, you’ll usually find me walking in the Peak District.
